Brand redesign to coincide with the refurbishment of a popular Broughty Ferry café.

Project Objective.

Gracie’s in Broughty Ferry needed to reposition themselves from being a daytime café, to an upmarket café, with a relaxed atmosphere and a focus on specialist drinks and ‘brinner’. Having worked together for years, they came to us to develop a brand to help change their image.

Our Approach.

We developed the brand by making use of a suite of logo / type marks with visual consistency. Informal vintage styled fonts were used to reflect the laid back atmosphere of the business. These were combined with a striking visual pattern and colour palette to create a strong visual identity.
