About Susan Forbes

What first attracted you to the graphic design industry?

Although I am not part of the creative team I enjoy watching the creative process and clients projects come to life, large and small.

How did you join Creative Graffix?

Creative Graffix were looking for an accounts person. My good friend Carol, who is a graphic designer for Creative Graffix arranged an interview for me. This was way back in the day when account ledgers were manual. 

What are the main challenges and what is most rewarding about your role?

To work in Creative Graffix you have to be flexible with multiple talents!

Although my main job is accounts, I also deal with lots of admin for the business and I can be called upon to lend a hand with any other tasks such as pricing work as required.

The days don’t always go as planned but I enjoy the variety and the sense of achievement after a busy day.

What are you hoping to achieve in the future? 

A holiday in the sun with a rum daiquiri by my side would be fabulous!

I love animals, enjoy walking my dog, horse riding, and the great outdoors.
