About Richard Smyth

What first attracted you to the graphic design industry?

Its in the family. My Dad started a print franchise when I was finishing college at 18, so I joined him.

How did you join Creative Graffix?

I founded Creative Graffix in 2009

What are the main challenges and what is most rewarding about your role?

The challenges are all about making sure you are staying ahead of your competition & staying fresh & current.

The most rewarding is when we win the projects, and working through to the outcome. Especially when clients praise you for the work you have done.

What are you hoping to achieve in the future? 

Keep building the business & to be the best graphic designers in Dundee.

What's an interesting fact about you?

Back in the mid eighties I went to Siberia to set up a print business. I was even on TV when we opened the business as it was the first print business in Krasnoyarsk, which is the 3rd largest city in Siberia.
