Brand identity design for the famous Broughty Ferry tapas bar & restaurant.

Project Objective.

Sol y Sombra’s owners approached us before the relaunch of their Spanish-themed bar and kitchen, with the intention to add personality and distinction to their restaurant from the first day. The bar was being completely redeveloped so a high quality, well executed brand identity was required to carry the distinctive look throughout the wide range of materials required.

Our Approach.

Regular meetings with the client ensured the project progressed in a direction that suited them best, as well as fitting in with the physical aesthetic of the bar itself. Furthermore getting to know the client meant we could really add personality to the brand, with Ernest Hemingway quotes, a bull fighting theme and other elements which delivered a more personal feel to the project as a whole.
