Brand design to coincide with the refurbishment of a popular Dundee Waterfront restaurant.

The aim was to create a visual identity for a new cocktail bar in Dundee with a strikingly indulgent interior — set to be a contemporary brand leader within the city. The focus was to incorporate and bring to life the fantastical illustrations by Whimsical Lush of the Bird (Pip) & Bear (Harold) across brand collateral.

The project took a considered approach to typography in order to bring the characters Harold and Pip to life. A bold font coupled with a delicate script font interact playfully and marry well with the illustrations. The colour palette of the menus complement the abundance of foliage and copper fittings within the building, in keeping with the cool, contemporary feel.
