Case Study: PATCH
A case study of our branding work for Patch, a palliative care charity and how it helped them establish themselves and get more donations for a worthy cause.
The Goal
PATCH are a new nationwide charity, the first to specifically support 24/7 specialist palliative care for hospital patients. They approached us long before launching to build a brand from the ground up which showed they were a worthwhile cause to donate to, and which demonstrated the scale and professionalism of the charity.
The Outcome
We worked closely with PATCH to structure how they communicate and developed a restrained yet distinct brand which matched the gravity of the sensitive subject matter PATCH deal with on a daily basis. This subdued aesthetic was punctuated by a highly-organised structure enabling clear communication of the core messages.
We delivered a logo design and established a visual identity that was later rolled out to various marketing collateral, business stationery and exhibition display graphics.
At our first meeting, Russell and Richard sat and listened carefully to what our new charity was trying to achieve. They also did their own personal research about caring for patients with advanced illness, in order to get a deeper understanding of the issues.
Creative Graffix have produced exceptional work — not simply because the publications are of such good quality — but because they have captured the very essence of what we are trying to do for patients and their families.
PATCH would like to thank Creative Graffix for such an outstanding contribution to their cause.
