We continue our series introducing each member of our team here in the Creative Graffix studio. Next we talk to our graphic designer Russell.
What is your full name?
Russell Henry Milne
And your job title?
What does that actually mean?
I do some thinking, then I play with fonts, colour and layouts.
What was your first job?
Kitchen porter at Aberdeen airport.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Ooooh, I’m gonna go with Up.
Favourite would have to be Alasdair Gray’s Lanark, a great Scottish dystopian novel.
White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Where is the most unusual place you’ve ever been?
Dubh loch in Glen Muick on New Year’s Day. It was completely frozen but not snowy. The loch was completely silver, it looked like walking on the moon or in a black and white photo!
Favourite (Pantone) Colour?
This is the hardest question of the entire interview. Um... can I choose the entire cool grey family? (Editor’s Note: You’re clearly not taking this questionnaire seriously enough Russell.)
Right now I really like Nexa, but you can guarantee I’d give a different answer next week!
Bloody cheese!!! Haven’t got time for cheese, so busy today! How about a LOVELY Gouda.
